Episode 31 --- Dorks In a Box - Part B
The weekly wackyness that is PodCulture continues with Part B of Dorks in a Box.
While Christina steps out of the studio for a bit Brad, Glenn and special guest Ryan debate the merits of the new version of Battlestar Galactica versus the classic show, while comparing it to some other cool sci-fi shows like Star Trek, Babylon 5, X-Files, and Lost. The guys also talk about the UK and US editions of the Season One DVD set of BSG.
Glenn's Guilty Pleasures for this episode is Barbarella. And folks should get a kick out of this review from Glenn!
Other assorted geek gabbing includes Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea, the movie C Q, the Duran Duran Barbarella video, Zombiegeddon, The Battlestar Galactica games for the Xbox, Marvel Ultimate Alliance for the Xbox360, the infamous Marvel No Prize, and the fact that Heroes, Smallville and other cool show return to the airwaves later in January.
Brad suggests a new segment idea called What the Filk and even has the first song lined up Mal's Song by Michelle Dockery and Escape Key. Feedback about the new segment idea is GREATLY appreciated!
Promos for this show include one from The Signal podcast for Songs from the Black and for author and podcaster Tee Morris' audio novel Billibub Baddings and the Case of the Singing Sword.
